Status: Compromised | The 1826 Time Traveller Anomaly
Someone may have accidentally arrived in the wrong time. Someone else may have been born in the wrong one. One is trapped. One might have a chance to leave. But will they ever escape… or remain stuck
It was a journal. An ancient, dust-covered journal was stored by itself on the shelf of an unused library, concealing a secret that unveils a more complex web of reality. Is this an 1826 journal of fantastical science fiction or something deeper? The journal contained a secret that nobody needed to know, let alone wanted to know.

The question, “Who wrote this journal?” would never go away. Was he/she merely perceptive? A participant? or perhaps someone more intellectual than might have perceived?

The journal’s first entry was made on April 19, 1826. Who was she? How did she get into the wrong era? Has anyone discovered her? Where did she go? There are still a lot of unsolved questions. But no one to answer those. A girl waiting for her companions to arrive this quiet afternoon seems like a fairly respectable entry.

“Status: Compromised” is printed in an unsettlingly huge and bold font at the bottom of the first page, along with coordinates to a new site in 14 years. Above the ominous statement that suggests she might be the person is an old, rather faded photo. Is she going to a new location? And what did she mean by “Again”? The questions remain unanswered or might unanswer forever. I wonder Who found out about her?

Page 2: She's stunning. Hold on, this is about her, not written by her. What a lovely name, Lumina. A soul born in the time period, discovering her actual purpose, attempting to piece together who she is? And where does she fit in? Everybody asks this question at some point in their lives. A life hidden behind the spotlight.

Despite being the centre of attention, she was a shadow of herself. "A woman of true refinement knows that the highest esteem is that which she grants to herself," was written on a note. Everything else is merely a fleeting echo. A quote that held up rather well throughout time. I wonder whether she ever discovered her actual vocation.
Lumina is not a traveller from another century, yet she is no less of an anomaly. She is a soul born in the right time but the wrong frequency, discovering that her purpose doesn’t match the world around her. While the first girl is a mystery of science, and "Again," Lumina is a mystery of the heart.

The shadows are long this afternoon. Somewhere, a girl is still waiting for her companions. And somewhere else, Lumina is just beginning to wake up.
